Solar power and our green credentials

We innovate and incorporate the latest technology in all our Helios horseboxes leading the way rather than following others. An example of this is our full solar charging system with two large panels now fitted as standard to the Helios range. This system is maintenance free and the quality panels and charge regulator are of the highest quality. The system is large enough to run all the LED lights on the Helios horsebox and keep the batteries topped up. It is not a token offering to tick boxes, but rather a large 2 panel system. The panels are so efficient they charge even on the dullest of days topping up the batteries throughout the year.
Each Helios horsebox is fitted with LED lights inside and out and they use a fraction of the power of conventional lights. They also benefit from long service life as they have no bulbs. We fit the latest low power consumption flat screen televisions and fridges. Helios customers do not need plug into mains power or run generators.
As a manufacturer we have a responsibility to the environment and to this end we use the latest VOC compliant paints. All our waste paint and thinners are registered for the VOC content and are collected for safe disposal. We even run a hybrid company car. All our chassis are Euro IV or higher for emissions and wherever possible low power appliances are used.
