Tilt cabs and adding a luton for horsebox conversions

There are two options available for adding lutons to horsebox conversions whilst retaining the full tilt cab facility.
We can fit the new Helios fibreglass pod and side ears then easily add a walk through or crawl through. This option looks like a standard Helios from the outside but only uses the pod as a wind deflector with no internal bed area. This is very popular with horse transporter type vehicles. Our other option is a full added luton where the cab tilts through a door that hinges up. We have used this system for many years on conversions and it is very reliable with the top hinge continuous plastic and the side seals foam. Mechanics also like this system because it gives full access to the engine and filters.
A quick word of warning if you are looking to add a luton, never go for the cheaper integral designs (none tilting) that some offer. They are cheaper because they are easier to build, however it is impossible with modern cabs to service the engine and filters without full engine access.
